The Position

Trapview is seeking a dedicated Managing Director, who is passionate about agriculture and digitalisation of field activities, to spearhead our expansion in Brazil.

Managing Director is responsible for managing the Brazilian subsidiary, having direct relationship with most important clients whose needs are well understood and gaining new clients.

The ideal candidate can attract new clients, close business deals, and build strong relationships with strategic customers. You will be able to identify needs and requirements to promote our company’s solutions and achieve mutual satisfaction. The goal is to contribute to sustaining and growing our business to achieve long-term success.

Your responsibilities:

  • Manage the local subsidiary according to the law, internal regulations, guidelines of corporate ethics, code of conduct and governance, provided by employer.
  • Manage Sales and develop business opportunities for Trapview products and services in Brazil.
  • Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives and needs.
  • Negotiate contracts with key clients and meeting established deadlines for the fulfilment of each client’s long-term goals.
  • Manage and achieve commercial budgets, expenses, and sales revenue.
  • Prepare and execute the Company’s annual and long-term plans including sales, expenses, business development.
  • Supervise local sales teams, business support employees, contractors and outside entities to service business.
  • Manage all assets – cash, inventory, and receivables.
  • Assure accurate and timely reporting on business status in accordance with defined expectations – monthly reporting.
  • Manage CPA, bookkeeper to assure timely reporting, bill payment and bill issuance (AR).
  • Organize and manage the work and business operations of the Company.
  • Implement the decisions and policies of the Company as determined by its shareholders.
  • Strengthen the company’s brand names and trademarks (internally and externally).

The Managing Director shall also be obliged to carry out other job activities, as requested by the nature of his position, and in line with the Trapview Group’s organizational instructions.

Your competences:

  • Graduate degree in Business or other sales related field AND/OR Graduate degree in biological or agricultural sciences with industry experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of executive management and sales experience in Brazil.
  • Must have experience in the Brazilian farming/agricultural industry and even added value would be to have knowledge in the precision/digital agriculture field.
  • Experienced negotiator with strong knowledge in complex deal-making & corporate decision-making processes.
  • Team player with the ability to lead multi-disciplinary & multi-cultural teams, to motivate virtual team members & to coordinate with internal & external stakeholders across hierarchy levels.
  • Excellent analytical, presentation & communication skills.
  • Excellent proficiency in English.
  • Independent, pro-active & goal-oriented entrepreneur with structured & flexible approach of assignments.
