Ready to engineer the next generation of smart devices?
If yes, we want to hear from you!
The Position
We are looking for a Hardware and Firmware Developer to work on the development of electronics, firmware solutions, and mechanical and electromechanical assemblies for Trapview products.
This role is ideal for a candidate who can combine knowledge of electronics, embedded systems, firmware, sensors, communication modules, and the practical operation of devices in real-world conditions. You will be involved in the full development process — from concept and prototyping to testing, optimisation, and support during the transition to production.
Your responsibilities:
- designing and developing electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical components for Trapview products;
- preparing technical drawings, electronic schematics, bills of materials, specifications, and development documentation;
- developing and validating printed circuit boards, sensors, power supply systems, and communication modules;
- developing firmware solutions for embedded systems;
- developing software for hardware control, monitoring, testing, and diagnostics;
- building prototypes, test setups, and functional solutions;
- performing testing, analysing results, and troubleshooting issues;
- improving existing products, optimising performance, and increasing device reliability;
- collaborating with R&D, production, and service teams to support the transition of solutions into production.
Your competences:
- a technical degree, preferably in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, computer science, or a related field;
- at least 2 years of professional experience in electronic circuit development, embedded systems, firmware development, or a related technical field;
- knowledge of ARM microcontrollers, sensors, communication interfaces, and basic power supply systems;
- strong programming skills in C;
- experience with firmware development or embedded software development;
- ability to read and prepare technical documentation, electronic schematics, and development specifications;
- experience with prototyping, testing, measurements, and troubleshooting;
- understanding of the interaction between electronics, firmware, and mechanical assemblies;
- analytical thinking, precision, independence, and responsibility.
Nice to have:
- experience with IoT devices or devices designed for outdoor operation;
- knowledge of low-power systems, battery-powered devices, and solar charging;
- experience with wireless communication, sensors, telemetry, or remote device monitoring;
- knowledge of tools for electronic circuit design, PCB design, or mechanical component design;
- programming experience in C++, Python, or similar languages;
- experience with STM ARM microcontrollers and the Keil development environment.
What we offer:
- fixed-term employment for one year, with a 6-month probation period;
- the possibility of long-term cooperation and permanent employment;
- single-shift work from Monday to Friday;
- work in a professional, dynamic, and friendly team;
- well-organised working conditions and a supportive work environment;
- a parking space;
- coffee and tea;
- workplace massage every two months
