Trapview and Proexport will present a joint project, how data gathered from the field and analysed based on AI technology can help growers and crop advisors to understand which pest populations are present in the crop and their intensity, the location where pests are present, the upcoming pest development stages and weather conditions.
Why is this information important?
• To take informed and timely crop protection measures only when and where needed.
• To effectively use biological treatments.
• To reduce the use of pesticides.
• To reduce the pesticide residues in crops.
• To reduce production costs.
• To reduce the CO2 emissions.
The traps will be set up and managed by Trapview on the fields of Proexport members, who will be receiving the daily data from the fields and pest forecasting models during the whole project period (March-June 2023). Moreover, the data will be also shared with the public. At the end of June, the outcome with the results of the project will be presented.
The Cartagena project will be presented by:
• Fernando Gomez, CEO Proexport
• Matej Štefančič, CEO EFOS Ltd.
• Antonio Luis Martinez Marin, Cartagena Project Manager

Following the presentation, the speakers will answer your questions.
After the formal part, you are kindly invited to social networking where you will be able to connect with other attendees over a delicious banquet.
