Trapview, a global leader in automated pest monitoring and forecasting solutions, announces that AURA 2 SC, a smart UV-light insect trap, has been nominated for the Fruit Logistica Innovation Award (FLIA) 2026 in the Technology category.
Fruit Logistica, the world’s leading trade fair for the fresh produce industry, will take place in Berlin from 4 to 6 February 2026. As part of the Innovation Award programme, free guided tours of the nominated solutions will be organised on 4 and 5 February, giving visitors the opportunity to explore the shortlisted technologies in greater detail. The winner of the award is selected exclusively by trade visitors.
Trapview will be exhibiting in Hall 3.1, Stand C-12, where visitors can discover AURA 2 SC alongside the renewed Trapview app, designed to deliver clearer insights, improved usability and faster, data-driven decision-making.

A new generation of automated pest monitoring
AURA 2 SC is a fully automated, solar-powered UV-light insect trap designed to attract and monitor multiple insect species simultaneously, without the use of pheromones. An AI-triggered self-cleaning mechanism automatically activates when the sticky surface reaches capacity, significantly reducing manual maintenance and labour requirements.
Fully integrated with the Trapview app, AURA 2 SC provides accurate, real-time pest data, weather information, pest development stage forecasts and crop protection simulations. This enables more precise, timely decisions and supports targeted pest management strategies in professional agricultural production.
